Ron Goodwin, Goodwin Enterprises, is the founder of the Good-One ™ Smoker/Grill.  It all started in 1988, when Ron decided to build himself a grill and smoker for home use.  With a concept in his mind and a persistence to achieve the goal, Ron built one, cut it apart – built another and then another until he achieved results.

As friends observed the ease of use and tasted the delicious food, they wanted one for themselves.  After building several units for friends, Ron decided to put them on the market as The Good-One ™ Smoker/Grill.  Ron’s innovative design with a grill and firebox in front and a smoker in the back was unlike anything on the market.

The 19 years that followed were filled with expanding the Good-One ™ line and marketing the products through word of mouth and a focus on competition BBQ contests.  Ron knows that virtually any smoker can be used in cooking championship BBQ; however with the Good-One ™ it’s just easier.

In 2007, Ron Goodwin joined a new family-Ace of Hearts BBQ Specialties, a team of experts dedicated to your BBQ success.  Ace of Hearts BBQ Specialties continues to provide a quality product and plans to expand the success of the Good-One ™ Smoker/Grill.
